Zeruyeyisecppisu Wood Back Boiler Insert
A wood back boiler — a steel water jacket that fits behind or into a fireplace or a compatible stove to capture heat from the fire and send it to radiators or a hot-water cylinder. Tappings for flow and return and a tested jacket; it must be plumbed into the heating system with the correct safety devices by a qualified heating engineer and signed off before use.
- Type: wood back boiler / water jacket
- Use: captures fire heat for radiators or hot water
- Build: steel jacket with flow and return tappings
- Install: plumbed with safety devices by a qualified heating engineer
For indoor domestic use. A boiler stove burns a real fire and also heats water for radiators or a cylinder, so it must be connected both to a suitable flue and into the heating system — it must be installed and commissioned by a qualified heating engineer and signed off by your district chimney sweep before first use, with the safety devices the system requires (such as heat-leak or discharge protection and an expansion vessel), the stated clearances, a non-combustible hearth and a working carbon-monoxide alarm. Burn only dry, seasoned wood or the approved pellets — never treated wood, rubbish or liquids — keep the door closed in use, never leave a live fire unattended, and empty ash only once it is cold. CE marked where applicable. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers.
